Calling all, guys and ghouls! It’s the most frightening time of the year... Halloween is on Thursday, October 31. Not sure where to go? There are plenty of hotels, restaurants and bars getting into the spooky spirit. From raging parties to epic drink specials, here's our ultimate guide on where to celebrate Halloween in the city.

Oct 26: Ridiculous Vampire Party @ Boxing Cat

Boxing Cat is going all out with the blood theme and throwing a vampire party. From 8pm, they’ll have DJs, a garlic-eating contests, costumes for the unprepared Halloweeners out there and a whole lot of First Blood on tap.

Oct 26: Bizarre Beijing Presents October Haunt Tours

Participants of Bizzare Beijing’s October Haunt Tour will be given “hell money” and protection scrolls before wandering around the spooky sites of Beijing. Beginning at Xuanwumen (The Gate of Death), the tour proceeds through the blood-soaked area around Caishikou Execution Grounds, haunted hutongs and other supernatural sites before ending with a visit to the haunted Chinese Opera Guildhall that was built on top of a cemetery. Oct 26: Beijing Experience Halloween Hutong Pub Crawl

Oct 26: The Freaks Come Out Night Market

We normally wouldn’t advise accepting free candy from strangers, but this is Rumble in the Jumble. The pop-up bazaar is giving free candy to anyone who comes in costume to the late night Halloween market at 4corners. Oct 26: The Murrican Nightmare Before Swedish Christmas

Adventure Zone at Kerry Hotel invites you to the annual Halloween party for kids, offering lots of fun activities like DIY arts and crafts, family games, a candy hunt, costumes, pumpkin carving, lucky draws and more. You will also be entertained by thrilling dance performances led by JiaBao, the Adventure Zone mascot. To complete the festivities, spooky creations of food and drinks will be on sale to keep energy levels high all day.

El Barrio is turning Halloween and Day of the Dead into one big celebration: Treat yourself to some pan de muerto (sweet bread with orange zest) and champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate with cinnamon, masa and brown sugar). The restaurant will also be serving Bloody Margaritas, made with tequila, red wine, blackberry, orange juice and lime. On November 2, come out to see a live mariachi band from Mexico turn up the party.
