Scene & Heard: Pink Moon

After gig space 69cafe shuttered its Nanluoguxiang location last year, it left a guitar-shaped hole in folk aficionados’ hearts. Pink Moon – by the same people behind 69cafe, which has since relocated to Haidian – may just fill it. Located on the second floor of a museum just off Nanluoguxiang, Pink Moon’s aesthetic is garden party-meets-Nick Drake shrine (the spot is named after a Nick Drake album). Artists include both local performers and international musicians, mostly acoustic. Decked out with plenty of tables and booths, the space isn’t as living-room-cozy as the old 69cafe, though it is just as welcoming.
