Scene & Heard: Mode-L

Wangjing is now home to Mode-L – a new gym, vegan cafe and selfie hub. Beneath the vaulted ceiling of this compact gym is all the equipment you’ll ever need. The open concrete walls lined by weight racks are great for the serious gym rats, while trendy neon motivational signs and mirror-plated equipment is perfect for the Instagram-inclined. This place also has a 20-minute laundry service available – and that just so happens to be the amount of time it takes to chow down of some of their fresh, post-training vegan food at the cafe. The gym is also available on Guava Pass.
