Don’t let the purple neon lights and Champagne bottles fool you – Pho Society has put style ahead of substance. The house special beef combo noodles (RMB58) are an unappealing mixture of flavorless tripe, insipid thin slices of beef and rubbery meatballs. Cocktails here are also bizarre – the Coffee Addicted (RMB55) contains Baileys, Kahlua, whiskey and Vietnamese drip coffee. Not the best pho we’ve had – that’s pho sure.
