Apr 16: Valery Gergiev & the Mariinsky Orchestra

Looking for your classical music fix? Look no further. For one night and one night only in Beijing, legendary Russian conductor Valery Gergiev leads the Mariinsky Orchestra, one of Russia's most historic and iconic musical ensembles. Come hear him bring new life to the brilliant works of Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky.

Through Apr 18: Greek Gastronomy

Kerry's Kitchen is hosting a Greek food takeover until Wednesday. Helmed by Guest Chef Panagiotis Sotiropoulos, diners can expect popular and authentic Greek dishes from keftedakia (Greek meatballs) to papoutsakia (stuffed eggplant with minced meat in a spicy red sauce and Béchamel sauce). Leave some room for the dessert counter which features 15 types of Greek sweets. Bringing a complete Greek experience, there will also be musicians to entertain diners with traditional performances on a wide range of instruments, while talented dancers will showcase Greek folk dances.

Through Apr 22: Beijing International Film Festival

Catch all the award-winning flicks during the Beijing International Film Festival this week. From Wes Anderson's lovable Isle of Dogs to Jordan Peele's psycho-thriller Get Out, there's something for every type of movie buff. The films will be shown at various theaters throughout the city so check out the official website for more details on tickets and showtimes.

Apr 19-22: French Cuisine with Bonne Maman Sandrine

Come experience authentic French cuisine at F Bistronome with Sandrine Delabriere, the mastermind behind the new menu. The Marseille native is an expert when it comes to Provencal and Mediterranean cuisine. She started cooking at an early age, learning from her family's recipes at first to creating her own as she continued to pursue her passion. She has traveled extensively throughout Italy, Spain, among other countries, and published 'A Mediterranean Cookbook,' her own cookbook with tips from nutritionist Stella Chan Marinaro, late last year.

Apr 21-22: Tang Yin Ballet

This month Suzhou Ballet Theatre brings their production of the Chinese ballet, Tang Yin, to NCPA’s Opera House. One of the four most prestigious ballet troupes in China, Suzhou Ballet Theatre includes some of China’s finest dancers, and is led by art directors Ying Li and Jiabin Pan.

Through April: Afternoon Tea & Pop-up Shop
