Beijing's favorite black-tie boxing event, Brawl on The Wall, is back for yet another bout of fighting at the Park Hyatt Beijing on April 29.

The 2017 Brawl on the Wall is shaping up to be yet another smash hit. Over 500 people are expected to attend the black-tie boxing extravaganza and look on as nine pairs of 'white collar' boxers go head to head. All fighters have undergone intensive training over the past three months. And they'll be ready to show what they've got on April 29.

Leading up to the big night we will be posting interviews with the boxers. From the final bout, Ty "Tyger" Dilts and Travis "The Canuck" Joern took the time to answer some questions:

Travis Joern

Nationality: Canada

Age: 31

Weight: 106kg

Favorite quote: "Don't count the days, make the days count." - Muhammad Ali

What made you decide to fight?: Pushing myself.

Job title: Managing Director at Canada China Business Council

If you could fight anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? John Belushi, because I’m sure it’d be funny. He’d still put up a good fight, and I definitely wouldn’t want to fight a professional boxer.

What's been the most difficult challenge for you since you started training? Trying to make classes fit around my work schedule and evening conference calls.

What positive changes have you seen in yourself since you started training? Lost almost 10kg. Already, feeling lighter, faster and stronger.

Describe a memorable experience from your training. The hit I took in the matchup sparring. That almost took me out of the fight.

Favorite boxer? Can I say George St-Pierre, from UFC? I’m a Montrealer, so GSP’s a national hero for us.

Favorite fight ever? Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris.

Advice for people who are thinking of participating in next year's Brawl on the Wall. Commit to the training, don’t miss classes, and accept the fact you’re going to get hit.

Ty William Dilts

Nationality: USA

Age: 36

Weight: 139kg

Favorite quote: "Don't give up. Don't ever give up." - Jim Valvano

What made you decide to fight?: To challenge myself to something new after "retiring" from rugby.

Job title: High School Special Education Teacher at International School of Beijing

If you could fight anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? I would want to fight Muhammad Ali, because, while I'd probably be knocked out in three seconds, maybe he'd have a talk with me after. And that'd be a dream.

What's been the most difficult challenge for you since you started training? Making the commitment to go three times per week. I get up at 6am and usually go to sleep around 10pm. Our class start late and finish at 10pm. It's been hard to go, but I'm glad I've made the effort.

What positive changes have you seen in yourself since you started training? It's a new challenge, and I love challenges. I started late, but now I'm starting to see a boxer emerge from inside me. I'm seeing the commitment it's taking to be great. I've done this sort of physical challenge before, but I appreciate the work and effort it's taking. As I take on new challenges at work, I'm glad to have physical challenges again. I'm also losing weight, which is great.

Describe a memorable experience from your training. My most memorable experience was my third night of training. I had trained and worked out all week, and halfway through the training my legs were cramping up, my abs were cramping up, my back was cramping up... It wouldn't stop.

Favorite boxer? Bud Crawford. He went to my high school!

Favorite fight ever? Holyfield vs Tyson... the eating the ear fight.

Advice for people who are thinking of participating in next year's Brawl on the Wall. DO IT! No doubt!
