Jan 24: POP-UP Beijing’s Classic Movie Tuesday
Head over to POP-UP Beijing on Tuesday night for a screening of the classic film, Monkey Business (1952). In a few words, this movie involves a chimp that somehow finds the fountain of youth, and it stars Cary Grant, Ginger Rogers, Charles Coburn and Marilyn Monroe.

Jan 24-29: Hidden Surface
Installations focusing on light and color are on display until Feb 5 at Galleria Continua thanks to renowned Korean artist Kiwon Park. This is the first time Park has ever held an exhibition in China. The installation Thickness takes up the entire main space of the gallery. The upper floors currently house a whole slew of paintings, titled Width.

Jan 26: KHL Hockey in Beijing with the Kunlun Red Star
The KHL calls itself as the second-best hockey league in the world – and you can watch games right here in Beijing. Players hail from countries around the world, from France to Canada to Russia. This week Beijing Kunlun Red Star will go against Slovan Bratislava.

Jan 27: Free Dumplings and Baijiu @ Capital Spirits
Capital Spirits will be giving out free dumplings and baijiu to any patrons who stop by on the night of Friday January 27.
Until Feb 28: 9th Annual Solana Lights Festival
The 9th Annual Solana Lights Festival is currently going on in Chaoyang. The festival features light installations by different artists, including Xu Zhongmin, Su Dan and Lu Zhengyan. This is a great one for the whole family.
