Nov 17-20: Ron Carter Nonet
Ron Carter is somewhat of a legend in the jazz world. The accomplished bassist has more than 2,000 albums under his belt and has recorded with the likes of B.B. King, Tommy Flanagan and Gil Evans. Pretty impressive if you ask us. In the 1960s, he performed as part of the acclaimed Miles Davis Quintet. And he’s earned two Grammy awards over the years. His career has been nothing short of spectacular. He’ll be performing at the Blue Note (along with a great team of jazz musicians) for a few nights this week, and we highly encourage you to check it out.
