We’re looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Manager to join our team and spearhead the growth of all our platforms: That’s Beijing, That's Tianjin, Urban Family and That's Online, as well as our social media channels. Our ideal candidate is digital savvy, has good communication skills (in Chinese and English) and a strong track record of sales performance. 

The successful applicant will be fully responsible for advertising performance of the sales team, so they must be able to demonstrate strong management and leadership skills, strategic thinking and creative ideas on how to grow our revenue. Most importantly, our Sales Manager needs to be able to work closely with our tight-knit team to help us develop the business so we can provide our readers with more quality content in print and online.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is motivated, hardworking and able to develop integrated sales strategies.

  • Has a track record of consistent sales performance, with experience in media an advantage.

  • Has excellent people skills and is willing to work as part of a close team, as well as with staff across our nationwide offices.

  • Understands the importance of new media and digital advertising.

  • Has excellent people skills and competent communication skills in English, spoken and written.

  • Demonstrates strong business ethics, internally and externally

  • Has a bachelor degree or above; professional working experience in media

  • Ideally has two to three years relevant managerial experience
