Our hotels have proudly upheld the classic British afternoon tea culture since it was first introduced at The Peninsula Hong Kong. Guests will be tempted by five delicious desserts atop the tea tray: Cherry Mont Blanc, Banana Pineapple Sea Salt Caramel Eclair, Hazelnut Peanut Milk Chocolate Rum Cake, Mint Yuzu Lemon Sago Cup and Peach Lime Mousse Cake. The middle layer brims with savoury treats, such as Coronation Chicken, The Peninsula Beijing House-Smoked Salmon and Avocado Mash and Ham Pretzel. The lower tier showcases warm freshly baked Peninsula Signature Raisin and Plain Scones served with traditional Clotted Cream, Lemon Curd and Strawberry Jam. The porcelain plates are custom-designed by Villeroy & Boch, a German luxury table porcelain brand with a history spanning 270 years. Each plate features a “The Peninsula Beijing” monogram on the reverse side.
