It's time for round two of the Shenzhen beer fests: at Bionic's third annual celebration of independent Chinese craft beers, sample sips from North, South and West, plus a guest brewer from Hong Kong.
The boozy festival will take place in the afternoon and evening, from November 10-11. The second day, a Saturday, coincides with China's so-called Singles' Day – a chance to either bemoan your non-relationship status or, you know, go out and meet someone with similar interests (e.g. beer).
Whether you're up to mingle or not, each ticket gets you not only access to 19 craft brew brands, but also a free drink from a brewery of your choice, a commemorative beer mug and a special bandanna. Food – think sausages, pizza, bagels and more – will also be available for purchase at the event.
Presale prices are RMB80 per one-day pass and RMB100 for a two-day pass (RMB100 per day at the door). Booking in advance is highly recommended, as space is limited. For tickets, click here.
For the local craft conoisseurs, see the brands that'll be represented below. Read a little bit about each, including which choice brews they'll have on tap, here.
If you can't tell your ales from your IPAs, don't worry – with founders or brewmasters of each brand present at all booths, you'll soon be discussing mouthfeels and IBUs like a pro.
