Bomb disposal technicians were called to a suspicious package on Shanghai's Changhua Road Monday, Xinmin reports

A convenience store clerk called police after no one came to collect a suspicious red package. Police quickly cordoned off the area around Kangding Road, diverting traffic and pedestrians.

Bomb disposal technicians moved the package into the middle of the road to open it safely. Inside they found only clothes, a false alarm.
