Calling all golf enthusiasts! The global flagship event of women’s golf, the Buick LPGA Shanghai, will take place from October 17-20. This will be the second consecutive year for the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) to co-host the tournament with Buick in Shanghai.
The tournament attracts 81 top female golfers from around the world to gather in Shanghai and compete for the championship, including defending champion Danielle Kang from the US and China’s No. 1 golfer, Shanshan Feng. Moreover, it is also a key battle for players to accumulate World Ranking Points as well as fight for positions in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. This year’s tournament will also have an upgraded spectator village that is open to the public and a new theme of ‘Golf for All’, which encourages more people to experience this golf event and learn about the sport. It's the perfect day out with family and friends!
Le Méridien Shanghai, Minhang has been appointed as the preferred hotel and caterer of the 2019 Buick LPGA Shanghai, which will be held at Qizhong Garden Golf Club in Shanghai.
