Outrageous Italian D.O.C. Gastronomia Italiana has nice new digs on Dagu Lu, and to celebrate the move, and welcome in patio season (they have a nice big one), they are throwing open the doors from 4pm this Friday for a Grand Opening Party.
Wine, Peroni beer, Aperol Spritz and Arancini balls will all be just RMB25. If you are wondering what Arancini balls are, they are risotto rice balls, and they look like this...
As you can see, they pair rather well with an Aperol Spritz. So we have some good news for you; D.O.C has a Spritz Social 4-8pm, seven days a week, where wine, Peroni beer and, you guessed it, Aperol Spritz and Arancini balls start at RMB25, then go up by RMB5 every hour until 8pm.
Back to the party. As promised in the headline, there will be free pizza from 6-7pm. Plus there will be a DJ. Groovy. Right, here's what the new D.O.C. looks like, with some food porn thrown in for good measure.
