That's Shanghai takes a look at the best art exhibitions of the week:
Chen Ke: The Real Deal is Talking with Dad

Beijing-based artist Chen Ke’s solo exhibition features a series of mixed media paintings and installations inspired by daily dialogues with her father, a traditional Chinese painter who taught at a middle school. Exploring family, youth and aging, the exhibition is filled with images attached to the artist's individual memories of her father, yet still providing a blank space for the audience to find their own deja vu.
Dec 22-Mar 24, Yuz Museum.
Wang Haiyang

This is the last weekend you can check out these experimental works that showcase some of Wang Haiyang's most inventive efforts yet. A looped video titled Party In the Anus, compliments an additional video work with subsequent drawings and paintings of hair covered humans in the freshly painted walls of the Anfu Lu gallery.
Until Dec 25, Capsule Shanghai.
Takashi Murakami in Wonderland

While the Murakami exhibition at Lu One mall may have been fake, Perrotin's put on the real deal. You have to make a reservation on the gallery's website to come see the artist's first solo show in Chinese mainland, but with a few new large scale works on view, the free show is worth a little extra planning.
Until Jan 5, Perrotin Gallery.
