TEDxPuxi returns to Shanghai next month for a half day of talks from inspiring speakers, networking opportunities and more. Here's everything you need to know about this year's event, which takes place on November 3 at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.

What is TEDxPuxi?

Operating under the TED banner, a non-profit organization that promotes the spreading and sharing of ideas through, usually, short informative talks, TEDxPuxi works much in the same way through spearheading local, self-organized events that bring people together.

Born out of TEDxShanghaiWomen – which gained incredible popularity over the five years since its inception, culminating in a sold out live show to 900 audience members in November last year – TEDxPuxi works to continue that legacy through the transformation of community matters and concerns.

Here are some photos from last year's event...

And… looking at the way in which these simple words, when spoken in dialogue with someone, offer the speaker and the listener opportunities with which to agree on how things are, but more importantly, where they can be taken.
