June 8: LL Palooza: Liquid Laundry Third Anniversary
Brunch hotspot Liquid Laundry turns three years old, and to celebrate they are gathering together several of the city’s best chefs to collaborate on a special menu for one evening only. To get the party going, PCJ of China Social Club will be playing from 5pm till late. Ticket prices at the door include two food items and a drink.

June 8: SHCR presents Abyss X
Shanghai Community Radio is a new underground platform for local music and podcasts. As one of their first events, Abyss X features some dark and grimy club music from Genome's Hyph11e, plus live visuals and performance art.

June 8: Future Beats of the Futuro
Dynamic duo Man Alive from Russia and Jun Nishio from Japan play their first sets at Smash. The pair promises disco, funk, house and garage with a healthy dose of future vibes.

June 9: Chris Cruse
Elevator's
sparkling queer party Medusa brings their second international
headliner in the form of LA DJ Chris Cruse. Heís performed at Coachella
and LAís infamous pansexual party A Club Called Rhonda, and deals in
house, disco and techno. Michael Cignarale and Mau Mau play back to back
in support.

June 9: Nature Feels
SHFT’s recurring party Nature Feels returns to Arcade, where Lacychu will spin her mix of chilled-out trap and electronic music. Head there to hang out and take advantage of the buy-one-get-one deal on all ABSOLUT. mixed drinks from 10pm-11.30pm.

June 9: 5th Annual Air Guitar Championship
This anticipated and always messy annual competition at Inferno returns for its 5th year. If you think you have what it takes to be an air guitar star, sign up for a chance to win vouchers and a (real) electric guitar. All contestants get happy hour all night.

June 10: The Apartment 7th Anniversary
While every other nightlife venue on the once depraved stretch of Yongfu Lu between Wuyuan and Fuxing has bitten the dust, from The Shelter to el Coctel to Shiva Lounge, The Apartment is still going strong. Head there to celebrate 7 years of rooftop cocktails and dance parties.

June 10: DJ Stingray
One of newly opened All's first bookings is DJ Stingray, a major player
in Detroit techno. He's been performing his driving mix of techno and
futuristic electro with a mask on for the past 25 years. Performing in
support are Shanghai techno purveyors Illsee, Provoda and Shanghai
Ultra.

June 10: Discosmic Adventure
One
of Shanghai's longest-running local parties returns to Smash with disco
bangers and mirror ball anthems. Nik Hilp, Lindberg and Tobias Patrick
mix Italo, disco, boogie, electrofunk, proto-house and 'outernational
sounds' for stargazers.

June 11: Moon Mad Release Show
Shanghai-based
producer Faded Ghost releases her debut full-length album, a haunting
and atmospheric record that was five years in the making and features
sound samples that she recorded all over the world. Faded Ghost will
perform live as one of the first shows at new nightclub All.
