On December 1, a special Cristmas luncheon and raffle will be held to raise money for the Baobei Foundation.

Catered by D.O.C. Italian restaurant, a five course Christmas luncheon will be fully donated with 100-percent of the proceeds given to support Chinese orphans in need of life-changing surgeries. The same feast, held last year, raised over RMB160,000.

Along with the lunch, a raffle will also be held with 100-percent of ticket sales going to the Foundation. Donations of RMB200 receive five tickets or RMB50 for one ticket. Those wishing to participate in the raffle do not need to attend the luncheon and can win some pretty neat prizes to include round-trip tickets to Auckland, a week-long stay in a luxury villa in Italy and more.

Since its 2007 inception, The Baobei Foundation has covered over 200 surgeries for children, predominately with special needs such as hydrocephalus, spina bifida and teratomas. Due to their surgeries, these babies quality of life are dramatically improved and with help from the surgeries, their chances of adoption are greatly increased. Each surgery is estimated at RMB60,000.

To participate in buying a raffle ticket for the December 1 fundraiser, inquiring about seats for the luncheon (which is close to sold out) or donate to the foundation email Baobei.Luncheon@yahoo.com.
