T-Pain

The man that popularized auto-tune, dominated the Billboard charts a decade ago and perfectly captured the triumphant feeling of being on a boat is back in Shanghai. It’s a bit short notice with limited tickets, but expect the man who proudly declared ‘I’m N Luv (Wit a Stripper)’ to perform around midnight.

Sep 17-19 Unico by Mauro Coloagreco three year anniversary

Les Twins

The Bund favorite rings in their third-anniversary with a week full of celebrations. On Thursday, Funky Soul Story takes guests on a musical journey through the classic soul age of America with plenty of hits from Motown’s heyday. For Friday, world superstar dancers Les Twins are the special guest of Chic ‘n’ Pop with beats by the SOS crew. Capping things on Saturday is the primal fun of the Amazoonia themed party complete with wild live performances, humanimals and other unexpected creatures on the dancefloor.

S.T.D. presents the genre-transcending British duo who in just a couple years have scored radio play from BBC, launched their own label and performed at festivals across Europe.

Julio Navas

Fresco Records’ head honcho has been a respected DJ and producer since starting out at 16. He’s worked with big names like John Acquaviva and David Guetta, while rocking crowds around the world from Ibiza to Rio.

Venus-X

The fashion magazine celebrates their decade anniversary by taking over Arkham, The Shelter and Arcade with a trio of parties. At Arkham, ghetto gothik favourite Venus X (pictured above) is joined by KOHH, Watapachi Lisa Chris, AR and AD08. Meanwhile, The Shelter welcomes rising French producer Gener8tion, Boiler Room architect Trist Tian, Kiri, Guillaume Berg and Detto K. Arcade hosts top Shanghai based acts like Linfeng, Fader One and Damacha.

There’s also over 300 records to choose from and if you bring your own vinyl, you might be able to do record swapping.

Both brands are known for their equal love and support for music and fashion, with Yeti carrying that tradition to Shanghai. Expect performances by hometown heroes Busy gang, Swimful and support from Long x DJs and the Yeti DJs. Greg Mishka and New York artist L’Amour Supreme hosts.
