Its Mainland debut is already a success with more than 120,000 tickets sold before its opening. Gangster Tour
Newman Tours explores the dark history of colonial Shanghai when gangsters like ‘Big Eared Du’ and ‘Pockmarked’ Huang ruled the underworld and in some cases, the police. For four years, Round Eye has been terrorizing Shanghai audiences with a raucous live show that justified their self-proclaimed title as “the sexiest, hairiest and loudest band in the land of China.” On their debut album, they show off their serious side with help from saxophonist Steve Mackay (The Stooges/Violent Femmes), lo-fi legend R.
