Coconut Taste Description

Coconut Taste is a Hainan-style hot pot restaurant on Huaihai Zhong Lu. Here, the soup base consists of chicken (said chickens are apparently raised on a diet of coconut meat) boiled in a coconut water stock. Add herbs, vegetables, beef slices, tofu and mushrooms to the pot, and dip in a tart calamansi, soy, chili and peanut sauce.
