Let FULU tell you what can be newly defined as integration of the Chinese and the Western!
In daylight, FULU has its demure, sitting quietly and unnoticeably in the bustling downtown. When you push the door and enter this venue, you will find its bucket arch that are normally favored by the architects for a right presentation of ‘Oriental Elements”. Indoors, there are three kinds of dining tables, with patterns of sunset glow, quite stereo feelings, and with traditional knitting crafts, cool and concise but projecting a feeling of friendliness. All reveal a densely rooted Chinoiserie. Even their toilets, with an exquisitely designed semblance of ‘mansion-like’ doors, are painted in ‘red’ and ‘green’ representative of the Chinese archaic buildings. The path toward the entrance is somewhat like a time-tunnel, illusionary as if you were back into the feudal dynasties after you get yourself a bit drunk.
At noon or in the evening, you have the chance to taste their western-styled Cantonese food. Deep into the night, this venue turns into a bar, where you can have a booze up with many innovative cocktails available like ‘Cool Disco’ that will definitely give you a surprise.
