Xia Beile Description

Crab claws when there comes the autumn wind, and one of the highly recommended place to eat crab would be Xia Beile. As the restaurant logo puts it, ‘Xia Beile Ai Shang Xie Gege’ (literally means Manchu Shrimp Prince has a crush on Princess Crab), it is famous for offering best hairy crabs from Yangcheng Lake!

Juedai Shuangjiao, meaning Peerless Partners, is actually a double-layered dry pot with bullfrogs at the lower layer and hairy crabs up, mixed with bean sprouts, tofu skins, tiger lily buds, celeries, and little rice cakes.
