Marriott Bonvoy’s signature dining campaign, Taste of Wonders, returns for its 2025 edition, uniting nearly 400 restaurants across Greater China with the theme Where Beauty Meets Culinary Mastery

This year’s showcase spotlights signature dishes, immersive dining spaces, the craftsmanship of culinary teams, and collaborative menus, all crafted to delight the senses through a balance of flavour, aesthetics, and cultural depth.

From the riverbanks of Wuhan to the tea terraces of Yunnan and the backstreets of Suzhou, diners are invited to rediscover culinary identity through four themed chapters.

A Seasonal Journey Through Northern Flavours

Over 90 Marriott Bonvoy restaurants across Beijing, Shenyang, Wuhan, and Xi’an present curated menus rooted in local heritage; from Wuhan’s Harbour Fresh night market flavours, Beijing’s mesmerising umami in lamb and fish, to Xi’an’s seasonal broths in Qin Soup Legacy

At Celestial CourtSheraton Grand Wuhan Hankou Hotel, Cantonese techniques are fused with Hubei flavours to craft refined regional dishes. 

In Shenyang, diners will find refined Manchu-Han dishes at Renaissance Shenyang West Hotel, guided by Liu Jingxian, master chef of Liaoning cuisine.

Tea-Infused Creativity Across the South

In 33 cities across southern China, from Sichuan to Fujian, restaurants are embracing tea-infused cuisine by integrating regional teas into their summer menus. 

Highlights include Jasmine Codfish, Yunnan Black Tea-Braised Pork Belly, and Longjing Milk Pudding

At Lai Heen, The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou, Michelin-starred Chef Huang Shangfeng leads with elevated Cantonese dishes infused with subtle tea aromas. 

You may also explore the Flavoursome Encounters menu curated by Chef Wang Jian at Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan, blending Cantonese and Jiangnan styles with delicate tea notes.

Timeless Jiangnan, Reimagined

In Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou, chefs collaborate with century-old brands to craft limited-edition pastries using intangible cultural heritage techniques. At Nanjing Marriott Hotel South, Chef Zhou Songzhu, recently honoured by the Michelin Guide, crafts seasonal menus that reinterpret the poetic elegance of Jiangnan cuisine.

A Coastal Collaboration Across Islands

Eight chefs from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Hainan collaborate on a tasting set that journeys from the finesse of Hong Kong to the warmth of Taiwan and the island flair of Hainan. 

This cross-border collaboration blends nostalgia and novelty into one refined menu.
