425 Cases in Guangdong, 11 in Shenzhen But 373 in Guangzhou

Four hundred and twenty-five cases of COVID-19 have been reported throughout the province of Guangdong today. Sixty-nine of the cases are symptomatic, leaving a total of 356 asymptomatic cases.

Here’s a look at the COVID-19 numbers per city. Scroll down for a more detailed breakdown of cases and policies throughout Guangdong.

Locally Transmitted COVID-19 Cases

  • Guangzhou: 50 symptomatic, 323 asymptomatic

  • Meizhou: 3 symptomatic, 17 asymptomatic

  • Shenzhen: 10 symptomatic, 1 asymptomatic

  • Shantou: 5 symptomatic, 5 asymptomatic

  • Maoming: 1 symptomatic

  • Foshan: 7 asymptomatic

  • Zhuhai: 1 asymptomatic

  • Jieyang: 1 asymptomatic

  • Yangjiang: 1 symptomatic


 

Guangzhou

Guangzhou remains the worse affected city in Guangdong province, with a total of 373 cases. 

  • 84 cases were found in centralized quarantine.

  • 259 cases were discovered in home isolation.

  • 23 case was detected in the screening of personnel in high-risk areas.

  • 6 cases was found in community screening.

  • 1 cases was found after visiting a fever clinic.


Shenzhen

On November 3, Shenzhen reported 10 new confirmed symptomatic cases of COVID-19 and one asymptomatic infection.

  • 10 cases were found in centralized quarantin.

  • 1 case was discovered in community screening.
