Got a sweet tooth? Indulge and explore over 40 exhibitors at One Avenue this weekend. Visitors will find everything from cakes and macaroons, to pastries, ice-cream, chocolate, cookies, yogurt, milk tea, as well as some Cantonese desserts.

Fri-Sun, Sep 18-20: CAFEEX & Bakery Expo

CAFEEX, is a Shenzhen coffee and bakery expo which will feature local coffee brands, coffee machine companies, coffee shops, as well as British tea brands and craft beer breweries. Highlighted international brands include Assembly, MOK, April, Leuchtfeuer, Ethicus, Lilo and Teapigs.

It’s time for another Domesticated Humans Show! As always, your favorite improv group will put on a never before seen show, just for you. Domesticated Humans is Shenzhen’s first long-form improv group. Long-form improv is a type of stage comedy where suggestions are taken from the audience to build an entirely improvised show with various characters and storylines. It will be full of laughs, fun and drama.

The Book Exchange Library is on this Sunday. Come browse books, meet people and exchange ideas. As per usual, you are welcome to drop by anytime and do a quick book run or you can spend some time reading and chatting. The Book Exchange is Shenzhen’s biggest expat library, with around 800 English volumes and 200 Chinese/foreign language ones. During events, the collection is open for checkouts, returns and discussions.
