Fri, Nov 1: We Lost The Sea @ B10

Sydney-based instrumental band We Lost the Sea are known for crushing guitar noise with dark melodic atmospherics. Their live shows are an aural journey packed with emotion, drifting highs and intense, crushing lows. During this year’s China tour, the Australian group will be performing powerful tunes from their latest album Triumph & Disaster, in which the band try to touch upon climate crisis, over consumption, isolation and the loss of love and trust.

Fri Nov 1, 8.30pm, RMB100 presale. B10See event listingTickets.

Sun, Nov 3: Andy Tubman 2019 China Tour @ Hou Live

Drawing from his Nashville roots, singer songwriter, producer, film composer and performer Andy Tubman, aka Skinnytubs, creates lilting melodies and sensual grooves. A cofounding member of the LA based groove band, The Jane Does, Tubman now prepares for his self-produced and soon-to-be-released solo album, Ache For Strange. With a diverse collaborative cast including Dennis Hamm of Thundercat (keys and synth) and James King of Fitz and the Tantrums (flute), Ache for Strange is a down-tempo soul pop masterwork that woos listeners into melancholy rapture.

Sun Nov 3, 8pm; RMB120 presale, RMB150 door. Hou LiveSee event listingTickets.
