OCT Loft becomes Shenzhen’s one-stop jazz shop starting this Friday as the 9th OCT-Loft Jazz Festival gets underway. With at least 16 performances slated over the next 10 days, there's plenty for music lovers to get excited about. Not big on jazz? That’s all good as you’re also more than likely to hear jams that don't exactly fit the genre.

Fri, Oct 11: Midnight Creed @ Oil (Room 2)
Open minded and enjoy modern techno music? If so, you can find an eclectic mix of techno at Room 2 in Oil this Friday, with Shenzhen-based DJ slash promoter Tomasz Guiddo performing on the evening. Purple Key and Lyndon Jarr will also be providing the beats to welcome in the weekend.

Sat, Oct 12: Unchained Presents The Upbeats @ Oil
Known for their organic and natural sounding drums, The Upbeats are considered a pillar in the drum and bass community. They’ve performed at a number of high-profile festivals, including EDC in Las Vegas and Pukkelpop in Belgium. This Saturday, The Upbeats and other great artists arrive at Oil for an epic night of beats.
