Bohemian Rhapsody is coming to a theater near you.

20th Century Fox announced via their official Weibo account that the Academy Award-winning biopic will be shown in China. The release date in China is slated for March 22, nearly five months after the film was first released in the US.

Earlier this week, the movie won four Oscars, including the award for best actor for Rami Malek’s brilliant portrayal of the late Freddie Mercury.

People online appear to be excited by the news, with one person on Weibo posting “It’s definitely coming to the Chinese mainland!! Ahhh, how amazing. I watched the final Live Aid concert scene on my phone and it got me fired up, it was extremely moving.”

Others are concerned over the number of scenes that may be left out of the Chinese version of the movie. One netizen pleaded, “When our country shows Bohemian Rhapsody, I don’t want any scenes deleted whatsoever.”
