Good news for wine lovers! It’s Beaujolais Nouveau season once more, and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Canton, in partnership with the Consulate General of France in Canton, is going to celebrate the arrival of this year’s grape harvest with a fun, wine-centric event.
Made from Gamay grapes grown in the Beaujolais region of France, this wine is a light-bodied red which is released on the third Thursday of November every year. It is fermented for only a few weeks and is the most popular ‘vin de primeur,’ a wine which is enjoyed in the same year it is harvested.
Beaujolais Nouveau events are held worldwide, typically a celebration of not just wine but delicious food, music and French culture. This year’s event will, like previous years, feature a delicious buffet of French cuisines and cheeses.
Join this unique celebration to meet fellow wine enthusiasts and quaff glasses of delightful ruby-red wine.
Fri Nov 16, 7-11pm; RMB300 members, RMB450 nonmembers. Shenzhen Luohu Shangri-La Hotel. See event listing. Scan the QR code below to buy tickets.
