Shenzhen Metro Group has announced that service on all lines will be extended till midnight on April 28, April 30 and May 1. For those of you planning activities for the upcoming Labour Day weekend, below are the adjusted hours of operation:
Saturday, April 28: 6.30am-12am
Sunday, April 29: 6.30am-11pm
Monday, April 30: 6.30am-12am
Tuesday, May 1: 6.30am-12am

Shenzhen Metro states that passenger flow is expected to increase over the weekend, particularly along Lines 1, 3, 5, and 11. Traffic might also spike near the following areas: the airport, Shenzhen's six train stations and bus stops that connect intercity commuters. Also, watch out for commercial areas where eager shoppers may be looking to snatch some holiday deals.
