July 17: Game of Thrones Screening at George and Dragon
As fans across the world know, GoT's 7th season is finally here. Get your weekly dose of fantastic creatures, gore-filled fight scenes and convoluted plotlines at George & Dragon, which will be streaming episodes on three TV screens every Monday for seven weeks.

July 18: That's Food and Drink Tasting at Minikor
Bring two or three friends to savor a Korean set menu (RMB600 for 7 dishes serving 3-4 people) including fan favorites like fried chicken and beef/cheese hot pot. For drinks there'll be Corona and passion fruit beverages. Diners get a discount off any additional drinks or dishes they order. July 19: Benefit Concert for Blind Summer Camp at B10 Live
Celebrated folk artists Zhou Yunpeng and Xiao He will play a benefit concert, with all proceeds going to a summer camp for blind children to be held in Shenzhen. Blinded as a child, Zhou started his music career in 1994, becoming one of China’s most celebrated folk singers. He is also an accomplished poet, author and actor.

July 21: Four Color Zack at Pepper Club
Four Color Zack, a 'DJ's DJ' from Seattle, has played underground parties and Vegas clubs alike. After his sets won awards at the Red Bull Thre3style World Championships, he set off on a tour to show audiences around the world a good time.

July 21: A Mid-summer's Girls Night Party at George & Dragon
Bring out the squad for a night of half-priced drinks, seafood platters and a giveaway (RMB100 of drinks goes to the best dressed) for the ladies only. The band Popnoise will play from 7pm onwards.

July 21-23: SZUMMER PRIDE Weekend 2017
After a successful pool party last year, Shenzhen's Pride group is back with a weekend-long roster of events. Show your pride (or support) at a lip-synching welcome bash, poolside party, Saturgays nightlife event or the final, free-entry block party this upcoming Sunday. Entry for the first three events is RMB120 each (includes one drink); you can also buy an all-access weekend pass at early bird prices for RMB240 (RMB300 full price). Specific venues for events will be shared with ticket/all-access pass holders after purchase.

Jul 22: Fresh 9-Year Anniversary Party at Sugar Bar
For the past nine years, Fresh has been pushing all kinds of underground sounds in Shenzhen, from drum n' bass to dancehall to deep house and more. To celebrate another year, they return to one of our favorite venues - the gritty and always exciting lesbian bar. Featuring nine fresh artists performing 90-minute back-to-back sets starting at 9pm sharp.

July 22: FC Bayern vs. AC Milan Soccer Match
In the summer of 2013, Stephen M. Ross and Relevant Sports revolutionized the international soccer landscape by organizing the Guinness International Champions Cup (ICC). Now the ICC match between FC Bayern and AC Milan in Shenzhen gives soccer fans in China an opportunity to attend an exciting, world-level soccer game.

July 22: Dave Audé at Pepper Club
Aude has produced music for the likes of Beyonce and U2. Last year, he not only helped Selena Gomez create her chart-topper 'Kill Em with Kindness' but also won a Grammy for his remix of 'Uptown Funk.' Get to the club before 10pm this Saturday to see him perform live for free.

July 22: Party with Live Band TAS at The Terrace

July 23: Filmmaking Workshop for Complete Beginners with Nausheen
Filmmaker Nausheen Ishtiaq-Chen is leading a series of workshops suitable for directing-shooting novices. After an introduction to the basics on July 16, you can sign up for the next practical course on 'live shooting demonstrations' this upcoming Sunday. Two more Sunday sessions will show you how to edit your film and then screen students' finished products. Class size is limited; add 'evieturner' on WeChat for more information.
