Here's the Shenzhen Restaurants & Bars Closing (and Staying Open) for CNY

It's Spring Festival in Shenzhen. What does that mean? Well... not much. As in, not much will be going on. A city built and resided in by migrants tends to empty when everyone goes home for the holidays.

To help those of you hanging around Shenzhen figure out what is open, we’ve talked to some of the city’s best known pubs, cafes and eateries to find out when they will be operating during the holiday.

Azzurro 

Azzurro will close from January 27 to 29.

Bionic Brew

Bionic's pop-up shop next to HH Gourmet will operate on regular hours of 5pm to 1am every day except Friday and Saturday, when they close around 2am.

The Baishizhou Bionic Brew will close January 30 and 31.

Frankie's Bar and Grille

The Frankie's locations in Houhai and Futian will be closed from January 29 to February 1.

HH Gourmet 

One of Shekou's top bagel shops will be operating abreviated hours, running January 27 to 30 from 8am to 4pm and January 31 to February 5 from 8am to 5pm. February 6 to 10 it will be open 7am to 5pm. American football fans listen up, HH Gourmet will play the Super Bowl live on February 5 starting around 7.30am.

Juice Baby Café

Juice Baby warns it might shut if heavy rain comes to town. Otherwise, they are serving alcohol only from January 23 to 25 and from January 29 to February 1. The Juice will shut its doors from January 26 to 28. Regular operating hours of 4pm onward are in effect.

Lavo

Lavo will follow its regular schedule of 6pm to 3am.

Everyone's favorite Italian-run underground bar is making it simple by just shutting shop from January 23 to February 6.

Peko will operate on its regular hours of 5pm till late.

Pepper will keep up its usual operating hours of 8pm till late (or early).

Providence Cocktail is shutting shop from January 27 to February 3.

The Shark location in Futian will close from January 27 to 29. The Shekou location will close January 27 to 31.
