Big news this week for lovers of Italian cuisine: the grand opening of Azzurro is this Wednesday, July 13.
The new eatery is headed by Executive Chef Diego Di Costanzo, who hails from the beautiful Italian province of Naples. Coming from a family of restaurateurs, he began working in hotels at the age of 14 and quickly began to “appreciate the importance of hard work and rewards.”
Since his humble hospitality beginnings, Di Costanzo has worked in a number of overseas kitchens, from Switzerland to Austria to Munich, and now, to Shenzhen.
While That’s has not yet had a chance to view Azzurro's menu, we have been assured it will present guests with a variety of Italian seafood options, in addition to authentic pastas and pizzas (the images below speak for themselves).
Guests who wear the color blue to the grand opening will be able to enjoy a selection of homemade Italian dishes for free! Come celebrate Chef Diego Di Costanzo’s taste of Italy.
July 13, 6.30-9.30pm; free for people dressed in blue, RMB168. Azzurro. See event listing.
