May 18-20: Macau International Clubbing Show
The folks behind Shanghai Comic-Con, Reed Exhibitions, will take over the Venetian Macao from May 18-20 for the inaugural edition of the Macau International Clubbing Show. This epic tradeshow is dedicated to the nightlife and entertainment industry and offers the chance to rub shoulders with some of the movers and shakers in the club business.
Exhibitors will cater to design, decoration, bar products, equipment, beverages, sound, light and a broad spectrum of other brands. There will also be the annual Asia Club and Bar Awards, as well as a DJ festival that will feature international and upcoming domestic talent.

May 18-20: MICS Macau DJ Festival
Coinciding with the Macau International Clubbing Show, this DJ festival opens its gates to music fans on May 18-20 and will add a bold dynamism to the trade show.
For the second year running, the festival is teaming up with Club Cubic – the largest and more prestigious club in Macau – to bring fans the world’s most renowned international DJs and upcoming talents. This year, the show is expected to draw in over 3,000 fans and will feature elite DJs Megan Daniels, Sonny Wharton and ARTY, who will keep the party rocking all night long.

May 20: Instagreen Party
On May 20, Green Room will have three Fuji Instax Mini instant camera’s upstairs to take photos with your friends and family. Decorate your shots with the Fuji Instax sticker frames, then write your name and hang them on the Green Room’s sky curtain.
Everyone can vote for their favorite image by filling out a secret ballot in one of the following four categories: best food photo, best drink photo, best people photo and best area photo (one photo per person per category). The winner from each category will win a RMB100 gift certificate to Green Room and the over-all most voted for photo takes home a brand new Instax Mini 8! Aside from photography, guests can expect food and drink specials, live DJs and tons of hipster vibes.

May 20: Post-rock night
Magma, one of the hottest bars in Shenzhen, will light up your Friday night with a wonderful evening of post-rock – featuring three local bands.

May 20: 2016 British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong Golf Tournament
Golf, the sport most of us rarely thought of until Tiger Woods’ infamous late night car crash and relationship meltdown. It’s a sport of skill, balls and walking (lots of walking) and the British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong wants you to join their golf tournament at Mission Hill, Dongguan on May 20. The tournament will be a great opportunity to meet both local and foreign professionals from the south of China and, like last year, will be a Texas Scramble-style competition.
Registration includes 18-holes of competitive – yet fun – golf, entrance to the awards dinner buffet (including free flow drinks) and prizes. Those that take advantage of the early bird sign up will have the chance to test drive a luxury car!

May 21: Seas of Years
Seas of Years, a post rock band from Sweden, is currently touring China to promote their new album The Ever Shifting Fields. Hailed as one of Weary Bird Records’ best bands – Shenzheners can expect a captivating performance from the rockers this Saturday.

May 21: R&B Concert by Naturally 7
As a part of A Cappella Musical Festival, Naturally 7 wants to invite Shenzheners to enjoy a night of groovy R&B. Join the group at the Shenzhen Concert Hall for a lively mix of modern and traditional genres that are guaranteed to get you moving.

May 22: Alice in Wonderland
“Curiouser and curiouser,” yelled the young protagonist in Alice in Wonderland, and so may you after witnessing this spectacular dance performance. The routine tells one of the most enigmatic fairy tales of the 19th century through, wait for it, belly dance! Directed by Jillina Carlano, Alice in Wonderland Dance debuts in Shenzhen this week and is not to be missed.
