Starting in 1997, DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJ List has been an annual barometer for dance music DJs, with legends Paul Oakenfold, Tiësto and Armin van Buuren all topping the list. Last year, Hardwell took the spot with over 750,000 people participating in the online vote. This year’s results will be revealed with three simultaneous parties in Amsterdam, London and Shanghai. Here are some of the top dogs performing here.
Steve Aoki

The electro-house favorite has slowly risen from the underground to breaking into the Top 10 of last year’s list. Through relentless touring and an energetic live show, where he’s known to throw cake at the crowd, Aoki has become a major force in dance music. Equally comfortable collaborating with Lil Jon and Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, Aoki picked up a nomination for last year’s Wonderland. Expect his set to incorporate his just released follow-up Neon Future.
Fatboy Slim

Norman Cook’s had an eclectic career, topping the UK charts with indie rockers The Housemartins and again with Beats International. As Fatboy Slim, he brought big beat to the mainstream with irresistible hits ‘The Rockefeller Skank’ and ‘Praise You.’ Free to do his own thing, he releases the odd passion project like his collaboration with Talking Head’s David Byrne on a concept album devoted to the infamous former First Lady of the Philippines Imelda Marcos, while bringing his manic flair to major festivals like Ultra and Glastonbury.
Giorgio Moroder

Arguably the father of electronic dance music, Moroder pioneered synth-disco, producing huge hits for Donna Summer and releasing landmark solo albums From Here to Eternity and E=mc2 that proudly declared its use of electronic keyboards. His soundtrack for Scarface is iconic and the 74-year-old is enjoying his current resurgence. He guested on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories and is working on a new album, while touring as “the world’s oldest DJ.”
New World Punx

Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten are two former Top 10 DJs that teamed up last year to form a devastating duo devoted to old-school trance. They slayed Madison Square Gardens at their debut show and have thrilled crowds, amping each other up during their back-to-back sets.
trEDcarefuLEE

Since a brutal photo scandal stymied his rise to the top of Hong Kong’s entertainment world, actor Edison Chen has focused more on his CLOT lifestyle brand and hip-hop career. The bad boy will team up with his Dog Eat Dog co-star and occasional LMF member Sam Lee, as well as popular rapper Chef for a rare collective DJ set.

The Dutch DJ has scored hits with 'Cry (Just a Little)' and 'Rattle.' He scored his first American number one earlier this year with the track 'Knock You Out' and currently resides at No. 52 on the Top 100 DJs list.
Ji Ke Jun Yi

The starlet came to fame on The Voice of China and has since collaborated with Snoop Dogg on the track 'Summer.' The festival will feature a special set, but the above video of her and Snoop, begs the question: how much time does Snoop Dogg spend filming music videos with foreign pop stars?
Listen up!
The festival will have no ATMS on site and no re-entries allowed, so stack up on cash before going in.
