With less than a week to go until the commencement of the 134th Canton Fair – it opens this Sunday, October 15 – China Foreign Trade Centre made a significant announcement today, October 8, regarding the establishment of the Canton Fair Channel in two vital ports.
This move is aimed at ensuring the seamless entry clearance process for the numerous buyers and exhibitors expected to attend the fair.
Anticipated as one of the largest gatherings of its kind, the first wave of guests is expected to arrive at various ports starting from October 12.
The two key ports involved in this development are:
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport
Pazhou Ferry Terminal
By introducing the Canton Fair Channel, authorities intend to streamline customs and immigration procedures for attendees.

Buyers and exhibitors of the Canton Fair who possess a valid passport or other travel identification, Canton Fair badges, a Canton Fair invitation letter, or a pre-registration receipt can now benefit from a swift and convenient customs clearance process through this designated channel.
This initiative aligns with a significant update made on September 16, which aimed to simplify customs and health declaration procedures for inbound and outbound travelers.
