The most famous Christmas Market of Shanghai is moving to a new and bigger location this year, and it is abolutely free to enjoy!
The mulled wine and rum punch will be flowing at the traditional German style market on the beautiful YuanmingYuan Lu Square next to the Rockbund and the Peninsula Hotel!
It is a wonderful scenic spot – with its old Church and the backdrop of the Shanghai skyline it is made for a wonderful Christmas market!
Expect a cozy and romantic setup of 22 wooden stalls, a beautifully decorated big Christmas tree and a Santa Photo hut by Coca Cola to share your Christmas greetings with your loved ones!
The air will be filled by the scent of baked apples, roasted almonds, gingerbread and mulled wine, rum punch and lots of delicious regional specialties from Germany and other countries that will leave you stuffed and happy!
As usual, stalls will offer wonderful handicrafts and gift items for you to take home with you!
For the small and big kids Santa will come by on the weekends to grant wishes! See you all at the traditional German Christkindlmarkt!
