Earlier this week, Chinese embassies in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam announced that nationals of the aforementioned countries with valid residence permits are allowed to reenter China.

Those holding “valid residence permits for employee, personal affairs, or family reunion may apply for visas free of charge... with appointments, no invitation letter required.” Before boarding, one must hold a negative nucleic acid report and relevant quarantine procedures must be followed once in China.

For more information, please contact your respective embassy for more details on procedures.
