Have you seen that new convenience store Lucky Mart on Fumin Lu? Well, it’s a convenience store with a difference... it’s a Japanese whiskey highball bar with Japanese convenience store snacks. Think curated cult Japanese candies, prepackaged sandos, a la carte izakaya-ish options and – whisper it – maybe even some pimped Top Ramen.
The concept is brought to you by none other than Camden Hauge and multidisciplinary design studio Wolfbelly, who wanted to create a fun, friendly neighborhood space; casual yet quality, affordable and always open. And by that they mean until 4am every night.
Danger has a new name, and it is Konbini.
