Calling all yoga enthusiasts! You can now book your tickets for this Sunday's Ashtanga Yoga Day! Ashtanga yoga was founded by K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India. The yoga guru opened his Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore in 1948. This form of yoga has gained popularity around the world. And this weekend it's making the journey right here to Shanghai!

Enjoy a day of all things yoga on Sunday September 8 at Yan Qingli Fashion Art Space. Classes will be hosted by two instructors who are certified tutors of Sharath R. Jois, grandson of K. Pattabhi Jois and the current Ashtanga yoga lineage holder, and authorized by the KPJAYI School.

BYMB is bringing this pure ancestral practice to Shanghai so you don’t have to travel all the way to Mysore to learn. The day will be filled with all sorts of classes from an introduction to Ashtanga yoga to the art of standing asanas to chanting sessions. As an added bonus, mats will be provided to guests courtesy of Sugarmat and healthy juices will be handed out courtesy of FS Juice.
