While news surrounding Shanghai nightlife may seem to be all doom and gloom of late, we can at least confirm one very bright ray of sunshine  – Rainbow Gao, who was behind the beloved Shanghai venue Mansion, is returning this weekend with a brand spanking new nightlife hotspot 3NTRY, or Mansion 2.0 if you will.

The first event at the new venue will take place on Saturday, June 22 from 10pm and will feature 24 different DJs in four seperate rooms. According to what we have heard, 3NTRY is set to be another ambitious and large space, which will strive to focus on youth culture and eco-friendliness, while putting on both nightlife events and also educational workshops in the future.

This joyous news is the latest re-opening in the city, building on the return of Elevator to their new location on Nandandong Lu in May.
