This French-language film is based on the life of the famous French novelist and playwright, Cyrano de Bergerac (famously brought to life by Steve Martin in Roxanne) who is possessed of a very large nose. Despite Cyrano’s brashness, his self-consciousness gets in the way as he pursues love. Enjoy one of the most famous dramatic representations of reckless courage and debilitating shyness, in the form of de Bergerac’s life story this weekend.
