If you are into cooking Chinese food, you've surely heard of The Illustrated Wok by online Chinese food mag, The Cleaver Quarterly. If you haven't, it's only one of the most beautifully illustrated volumes of Chinese recipes we have seen in the history of cookbooks.

Their latest bright idea is a 52 card deck of pocket-sized cards depicting classic Chinese vegetables. On the flip side, you'll find the English and Chinese names of the veggie, nutrition facts, cooking tips, a how-to on selection and storage and other fun stuff. For example, did you know that the darker the bitter melon, the more bitter the flavor?

The sheer variety of Chinese greens, legumes, fungi, gourds, roots and more can be overwhelming making this set a pretty fun way to add some new ingredients to your diet. We'd love to take a peek at the sweet potato leaf, lily bulb and watermelon radish cards, to name a few.
Check out their Kickstarter campaign for more details. A pledge of USD15 gets you the deck, but we have our eye on the tee shirt, deck and weekly planner combo set.
