We are proud to announce Adriana Women’s Sports as winners of Outstanding Amateur Sports Club at the 8th annual That’s Shanghai Sports Awards.
Founded in 2017, Adriana Women’s Sports is an organization with a focus on empowering women and girls to move beyond social constraints. They aim to support communities by providing access to sports and the development of a healthy and active lifestyle.
Cultivating sporting platforms for women and girls the world over, Adriana strives for these participants to succeed in a supporting environment through connection and education. And most importantly, Adriana allows sports-loving women to shine.
Last September Adriana Women’s Sports organized their first ever amateur women's five-on-five basketball tournament at Shali Sports Life.
This year they will build on the huge success of that event with two leagues and two tournaments. They also have two new programs, including a referee / table official / coach course and a basketball training course for women and girls.
And in September they will once again organize a friendly basketball tournament for anyone interested, in conjunction with Changning Sports Bureau.
