Shanghai, are you ready for some (American) football?
Kickoff for the Super Bowl LII (pronounced 'lǐ') between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles is at 7.30am China time on Monday, February 5. We've rounded up a list of where to enjoy Super Bowl Monday around town.
Cages Bar and Sports
Cages is throwing a tailgate party for Super Bowl Monday. Each RMB160 ticket includes a breakfast buffet (southern country style) and a can of Brewdog Punk IPA. They'll also be offering specials on pints and a package deal on kegs. Doors will open at 6am, while the breakfast buffet starts at 8am and finishes after Justin Timberlake's (presumably) wardrobe malfunction-less halftime show. If you'd rather pass on the commercials — we've already seen the Diet Coke one, and we don't blame you — they've got games and other fun activities planned for the breaks. Seat and table choices are first come, first serve.

Camel Sports Bar and Kitchen
The Camel is broadcasting Super Bowl 五十二 on their giant screen TVs. Doors will open bright and early at 6.30am, and a special breakfast menu will also be available.

Shanghai Brewery
Shanghai Brewery's Hongmei Lu and Donghu Lu locations will broadcast the big matchup live. There’s no cover charge and doors will open at 6.30am. Brekkie combos will be available.

Boxing Cat Brewery
Boxing Cat Brewery will be streaming Super Bowl LII live at their Sinan Mansions location. RMB100 entry includes a full breakfrast spread. Add RMB100 for three drink tickets. Doors open at 6.30am, while kickoff is at 7.30am

Bordertown
Bordertown takes over where Bubba's left off and will be the new home of Bubba's long running Super Bowl party (12 years and counting)! Admission is free but reservations are required. Ladies drink free, and there will be a Happy Hour throughout the game as well as RMB25 breakfast tacos. Pick the winner of the game upon entry to win a free beer.

The Rooster
Head over to The Rooster to catch a live stream of Super Bowl LII, with doors opening at 6.30am. They'll be offering up a few drinks deals, including RMB40 Bloody Mary's, RMB40 Goose Island IPAs and RMB25 Budweisers on draft. They'll also have their full brunch menu available. You'll also have the chance to win some great prizes in their Super Bowl Squares game.

Fat Cow
Looking for a place to watch Super Bowl 52 in Jing'an? Fat Cow has you covered. They'll be showing the game live, with no cover charge. Doors open at 6.30am and delicious breakfast combos are available. Only available at Fat Cow's Yanping Lu branch.

Goose Island Brewhouse
Goose Island will be hosting a Super Bowl LII tailgate party starting at 7am. Watch the game on one of their many flat screen televisions while noshing on an all-American breakfast platter that includes chicken wings, french fries, house craft beers, nachos, coffee and tea for RMB200 per person. Happy hour is available until noon, and there will be a 10 percent off deal for groups of 10.

The Blind Pig Bourbon and Smokehouse
Football fans can stop by The Blind Pig Bourbon and Smokehouse for their NFL Super Bowl Party. RMB168 entry includes a breakfast buffet with coffee free flow plus one True Legend craft beer. Doors open at 6am, so head over early to catch all the pregame action and snag a great seat.

The Pearl
The Pearl will be showing the game on their giant eight-meter HD big screen. Doors will be open from 6am, and admission is free admission for everyone. Breakfast and drink specials will be served up all day long. Advanced reservations and group bookings are highly recommended.

Kerry Hotel Pudong
Kerry Hotel Pudong will be throwing their big tailgate party again this year. Watch the game on their giant LED screens in the hotel ballroom while enjoying a breakfast buffet, free-flow house wine, beer and soft drinks. They'll also be holding a silent auction with a selection of celebrity player memorabilia, including an autographed framed photo of NFL legend Jerry Rice.
