The School Alliance is a club brought to you by Games Workshop aimed at introducing young people to the world of games.
This hobby can offer benefits to kids of all ages in a number of different areas: helping them with their language and reading skills (both oral and written), mathematics, statistics and risk analysis, as well as improving their social skills. The hobby also taps into a young person's creativity through arts and crafts, and offers a lot of material to encourage their creative writing abilities.
This is more than just allowing young people to play games, it's about creating a community where they can form bonds and friendships with like-minded people from all over the world. As this is a global community, they will always find a warm welcome in any of Game Workshop’s 400 stores found the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and more.
For educators interested in introducing students to games, The School Alliance provides free teachers kits with all of the resources, lesson plans, worksheets and information you need as an introduction to the hobby. Each pack contains materials for up to 12 pupils.
