A Legoland theme park is coming to Shanghai!

Scheduled to open in Qingpu District in 2022 in the Dianshan Lake area.

According to the Daily Mail, approximately USD300 million will be invested to create a park similar to the parks under construction in Japan and Korea and already opened in Dubai.

Aimed at younger children, the park features 100-plus acres of rides and legomodels of landmarks across the globe. Other parks are situated in the US, UK, Germany, Denmark and Dubai, with the only Asian location thus far in Malaysia.

Can't wait until 2022? Head over to the Legoland Discovery Center in the Putuo Distric for an interactive day of fun and see the Lego Lujiazui skyline by night.
