Shanghai People's Square Station Closed for Renovations

Heads up commuters and travelers, People's Square Station will be closed from January 14-Feb 10, yes, right in the middle of Chinese New Year.

Line 2 will keep running, but both Line 1 and Line 8 will be closed so transfers will not be possible.

Zhangjiang High Technology Park Line 2 will also be closed from January 21 to Feb 10 and Shendu Highway Station's Line 8 will be closed from Jan 25 to Feb 8.

For those traveling those routes, trains will still pass through the station, they just won't stop. If you have to continue on to the next station surrounding People's Square, now might be the time to figure out that mobike

Free shuttle services will be available between Jinke Station and Zhangjiang High Technology Park from 7am to 8pm. A free shuttle service will also be available between Lianhang Station and Shendu Highway Station from 5.15am to 10.15pm at Shendu Station and 5.20am to 11.40pm at Lianhang Station
