So many "China podcasts" are just that – about Chinese history, politics or other, similarly wonky subjects. Not that there's anything wrong with that (we love us some history) but, sometimes, we yearn for the lighter side of China – and now, Kung Fu Komedy has delivered. To see their previous podcasts, click here

This week, the Kung Fu Komedy krew chat with Archie Hamilton.

According to KFK:

Archie Hamilton’s a major music promoter in China. His company Splitworks played a huge role growing the music industry in Asia, bringing out a jaw-dropping run of acts including Jason Mraz, Ludacris and Steve Aoki. He organizes the JUE | Music + Art Festival in Beijing and Shanghai, the Echo Park Festival, and the Contemporale concert series with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. We caught up ahead of Splitworks’s 10 year anniversary on Saturday Nov 26, and talked all about the trials and tribulations of running concerts, and he opened up about the infamous last-minute cancellation from Mos Def.

Every week, Andy Curtain tracks down the most interesting person he can find and asks them what they're doing in China. To subscribe, add the Stuck in the Middle podcast on iTunes, or copy this link to use in your favorite podcatcher app.
